Peace Education
CISV educates and inspires action for a more just and peaceful world. In all programs, children and youth explore in an active, hands-on, and experiential way CISV’s peace education topics: human rights, diversity, conflict and resultion, and sustainable development. These experiences empower children and youth to make a difference in their communities and become global citizens. At the heart of all our programs is our belief that peace is possible through friendship and mutual understanding.

Local Mini Camps
Mini Camps are local weekend camps for children and youth aged 10-17 wanting to build friendships and learn how to make a difference in their communities and the world. Mini Camps are hosted 3 or 4 times a year and are usually located at a camp facility within a 30-minute drive from Saskatoon. Indoor and outdoor activities are a mixture of games, sports, art, drama, music, nature activities, guest speakers, discussions, and team building activities.
National and International Programs
At CISV’s national and international programs, children and youth from many different communities or countries come together in a safe, fun setting where they learn about each others’ lives and cultures and how to communicate, cooperate, and live together. The learning experience and the friendships they make will last a lifetime.
